Who we are

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your booking details, treatment, date and time.
• Anything you choose to tell us in the booking notes, which may include health information (for example an injury or pregnancy) so we can treat you safely.

Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider, we never see or store your card details.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to take and manage your booking, send you a confirmation and any reminders, keep a record of your visits, and provide a safe treatment. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you (your booking). Where you share health information, we use it only to deliver your treatment safely, with your consent. We may also keep certain records to meet legal obligations, such as tax.

Who we share it with

We only share what's necessary with the trusted services that help us run the business:

• Stripe, to take card payments securely.
• Resend, to send your booking confirmation and reminder emails.
• Vercel and Neon, to host the website and store booking records.

We never sell your information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking information for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, plus any period required by law. After that it is securely deleted.

Cookies

Essential cookies needed for the site to work are always on. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies.

We count visits using cookie-free analytics from our hosting provider. It tells us which pages people look at, and roughly where in the world they are, nothing that identifies you, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

If you accept via the banner, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move around a page, scrolling and taps, and to build heatmaps, so we can see where the site is confusing. Clarity sets cookies and never captures the details you type into the booking form. It stays off unless you say yes, and you can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To do any of these, just contact us at hello@deesthaimassage.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
